When you're out for a long ride, the chances are you're going to get hungry. So it's a good thing that there are tons of great cafés dotted across the UK. But which ones are the best for bikers? Well, we've done the research so you don't have to.


Number 1 - Super Sausage Café (Northamptonshire)

Topping the lists of several 'biker guide' blogs and magazines, the Super Sausage Café is well on its way to becoming a sensation! This family owned restaurant is ideally located between Milton Keynes and Towcester and is only 10 minutes away from the world famous Silverstone Race Circuit.


With its large car-park, fantastic food and great value for money this spot is a popular place for motorcycle meetups throughout the year. Bikers from all parts of England love to stop in for a bite to eat and a chance to meet some like-minded people. So make sure you take the time to tick this one off your bucket list!

Number 2 - Seaways Café (Yorkshire)

Located just a stones throw away from the brilliant riding routes through the Yorkshire Dales, this café has been a well-known biker-den since it opened in 1974. With an amazing range of food items on the menu and the addition of their handmade, beautifully finished glamping pods, Seaways Café is the perfect place for a quick pit stop or a long weekend away on your bike. Number 3 - Ace Café (London)

Arguably one of the most well-known biker cafés, the Ace Café is a brilliant spot for all 'petrol-heads'. Originally founded in 1938, this café is still going strong despite its slightly tumultuous past. Nowadays, with a large variety of events, including meet ups and bike nights this café boasts a lively atmosphere alongside its great food.

Here you can not only enjoy a traditional 'Full English' breakfast, but also daily specials and homemade pastries!

Number 4 - Jacks Hill Café (Northamptonshire)

For this one, we're heading back to Towcester, Northamptonshire. Jacks Hill Café might be typically known as one of the UK's most famous truck-stops but it still holds legendary status in the biker community! The large outdoor space and great food at even greater prices, make this café another popular choice for meet-ups. So if you're in the area, make sure to stop by and check it out.


Fun Fact - Jacks Hill Café can be seen on TV in shows like Top Gear, Scrapheap Challenge and even Songs of Praise!

Number 5 - Squires Café Bar (West Yorkshire)

Another great spot located up in Yorkshire, Squires Café Bar was originally known as Squires Milk Bar when it was built back in 1954. After moving to a bigger site in 2002, the customer base expanded greatly and the biker community especially became drawn to this brilliant venue.


Squires boasts amazing facilities such as their own campsite, function room and bike accessory shop. With all of this, and good food, you couldn't ask for anything more! Check out their website below!

Number 6 - The Bike Shed

We're biking back to London for this one! The Bike Shed has been a staple of the biker community since 2011 and offers not just great food but a shop, motorcycle club, clothing and even more!

With a variety of food items on the menu, ranging from the 'Full Bike Shed' breakfast to vegan options, this café has something for everyone.


And if you're stopping by later in the day you can check out their bar - fully stocked and ready to serve with happy hour being hosted 5pm-7pm on weekdays!


No matter what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed by a visit to the Bike Shed.






Number 7 - Elaine's Tea Rooms (Lancashire)

Mentioned in one of our previous blogs (Biking Through the Bank Holiday), Elaine's Tea Rooms are a staple for bikers in Lancashire. Opened in 2007, this café's friendly atmosphere has been a major draw for bikers and hikers alike. They offer a comforting range of hearty, home-cooked food alongside freshly-made pastries and daily specials. Their Sunday roasts even boast roast beef cooked overnight in the Aga, so don't miss out!





Number 8 - Chequered Flag (Cornwall)

Trekking all the way over to Cornwall now, the Chequered Flag happens to be Cornwall's first café, motorcycles and accessories shop! The retro, auto-themed café/diner is family run and has plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With free Wi-Fi, games to play, books and magazines to read - it's the perfect place for singletons and families alike. They even offer space to hold events, so keep it in mind for your next bike meet!

While you're there you can even check out their showroom and workshop - it's enough to get any bikers head spinning!

Number 9 - Iron Horse Ranch House (Peterborough)

Based in Peterborough, the Iron Horse Ranch House (like many other biker friendly cafés) has a fantastic atmosphere. With extensive menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are options for everyone and at a great price too! Their version of a 'Full English' is only £8.00! And if you're in the area around Christmas time then you're in for a treat - their Christmas menu looks super tasty! Check it out online!






Number 10 - Loomies Moto Café (Hampshire)

Our final recommendation is a brilliant, red-brick café run by bikers for bikers. Situated among some of the best biking routes in England, Loomies is the perfect place to start a ride, end a ride or just treat yourself to a well-earned break. And whilst you're their you can treat yourself to some delicious food from their comprehensive menu or even kit yourself out with some new gear from their shop!
