Get your full licence with us and discover the freedom of motorcycling at a higher level.

To begin your journey to the full licence, you will need an in-date CBT certificate and a motorcycle theory test.

A Licence. Aged 24+, you can go straight to your full A licence and it opens up the freedom of the road on a larger bike! Your category of bikes for the A licence is unlimited, you can ride without L plates and carry a pillion.

A2 licence. If you're between the ages of 19-24, book in for the A2 category licence. This enables you to ride any bike restricted to or no more than 35kW or 47bhp, ride without L plates and carry a pillion passenger.

Once you've held your A2 licence for 2 years, you can progress to take your full A no matter your age.

You need to do 2 modules to get this licence. Book both Module 1 and Module 2 as a package, or just one according to your needs. We provide an estimate of 2 days of training before your Module 1 test and 2 days before Module 2, provided at our training centre in Carnforth. The tests will take place at a partner centre and we will be there for any support or answers you may need.

For either licence the test and elements covered are identical, the only difference being the size of the bike that you’ll be using for each test.

·       Module 1

Module 1 is completed at a DVSA test centre in off-road conditions.

Module 1 manoeuvres: wheeling the motorcycle and using the stand, slalom and figure of 8, a slow ride, U-turn, cornering and a controlled stop, cornering and emergency stop and cornering and hazard avoidance.

·       Module 2

Module 2 is an assessed road ride at and around a DVSA test centre.

Module 2: eyesight test, safety and passenger questions, show me, tell me questions, road riding element and independent riding section.

During the guided road ride and independent road ride, the examiner may ask you to carry out any of the following.

·       Normal stops

·       An angled start

·       Hill start

·       Be asked to follow signs or directions guided by your examiner.
